Daylily

This watercolor focuses on a single daylily caught in a quiet, luminous moment—its petals holding onto beads of water that feel both fragile and deliberate. I used a bold, darkened background to push the flower forward, allowing the warm oranges and yellows to glow with intensity and presence. The contrast heightens the tension between softness and strength, between the fleeting nature of the droplets and the resilience of the bloom.
